Every week, Cody Tarantino takes on specialized requests from clients and collectors. This page displays some of Tarantino's favorite client projects.

Dreams Beyond Reality
“Dreams Beyond Reality” is a painting Cody Tarantino completed in 2022 for a private collector with a well-regarded collection. The piece was conceived as a visual exploration of lucid dreaming—where the dreamer becomes aware within the dream and can shape its course. Through vivid imagery and surreal elements, Tarantino aimed to capture the blurred boundary between the conscious and unconscious mind.

Quantum
“Quantum” is a project that Tarantino completed in 2022 for a college student studying quantum computing. The piece was meant to portray a mental model of the client while illustrating themes of physics, consciousness, and the abstract nature of reality. Through layered symbolism and a blend of organic and geometric forms, Tarantino explored the tension between logic and imagination, capturing the complexity of thought in a quantum framework.

Earth and Ether
"Earth and Ether" was a piece that Tarantino exchanged for a five-figure collection of ancient coins and early U.S. bank notes. Having grown up collecting coins and developing a deep interest in history, Tarantino was especially eager to make the trade happen. To him, the deal was more than transactional—it was a meaningful intersection of art, history, and personal passion.
Massive Poster
Sunday x Cody Tarantino
Jesse Sebastiani, originally a member of the YouTube prank group Nelk, began stepping back in late 2020 due to burnout and a desire for a simpler, more balanced life. By 2022, he officially left Nelk, selling his shares and launching Sunday, a creative venture focused on fashion and branding. Jesse reached out to Cody Tarantino in 2022 to design a poster for their headquarters, and Cody was eager to collaborate, bringing his artistic vision to a project that embodied Jesse’s new creative direction and commitment to authenticity.

Mouse Pad
Project for Faze Blaze
FaZe Blaze, born Lucas Mosing, is a content creator and former member of the esports organization FaZe Clan. He gained fame through Call of Duty gameplay and vlogs, joining FaZe Clan in 2015. In 2022, Lucas approached Cody for a couple projects, one of which being the attached mouse pad design
Drawing on a Vanderhall
This project was a significant challenge for Cody, and took just under 5 days to tackle. It was the largest surface he had ever worked on, and the unusual curves made the process even more complex. Once completed, the artwork was sealed and protected with a clear wrap.
The client has since preordered another Vanderhall, and we’re planning to start on the second project once the vehicle arrives.

Projects for Musicians
Cody is constantly working on album covers, music videos, and more for musical artists. Attached are some of his favorite covers, followed by a few music videos.

In 2024, Uni-ball invited artist Cody Tarantino to star in a commercial for their Posca marker line. The campaign was filmed in Mexico City, in a remarkable location: the former home of a legendary Mexican muralist, Diego Rivera. Diego Rivera, a towering figure in 20th-century art, helped pioneer the Mexican muralism movement, using public walls as canvases to tell powerful stories of labor, resistance, and national identity. His influence extended far beyond Mexico, shaping the direction of modern art around the world. For Tarantino, Rivera’s work (especially The Detroit Industry Murals in the Detroit Institute of Arts) left a lasting impression. Encountering these murals in Detroit sparked a deep respect for Rivera’s commitment to art as both craft and social commentary. The commercial shoot paid subtle tribute to that legacy. One of Rivera’s former home studios was reimagined as a Cody Tarantino-inspired creative space, blending contemporary aesthetics with historical echoes. It was a meeting of eras: Rivera’s revolutionary spirit intersecting with Tarantino’s modern, multidisciplinary vision. Nearly 100 creatives and crew members came together to produce the campaign. The final commercial, rich with color and symbolism, continues to air on Bloomberg and across major U.S. television networks, marking one of Uni-ball’s most ambitious and culturally resonant projects to date.
